--> Welcome to the No. 1 location for people who love the humorous and heart-warming things kids say.

Laughter is a tonic! It helps reduce stress, increase creativity and build stronger relationships, especially in families. What better way to smile than to listen to the humorous, eye-opening and thought-provoking things kids say.

Founded in 1994 by Grace Witwer Housholder, The Funny Kids Project encourages people to savor and save the funny things kids say. Our books contain hundreds of the best stories that people have submitted to us over the years. You can also read many great stories online at http://www.kidwarmers.com and http://www.egroups.com/messages/funnykids

Proceeds from the sale of our award-winning books are donated to charities that help children and families.

Currently more than 27,000 people around the world receive our weekly Kidwarmers newsletter.

"The Funny Things Kids Say Will Brighten Any Day!" (Volumes 1-3) and "Quotable Kids - fun in the family tree" books contain hundreds of stories from parents, teachers, grandparents and childcare providers around the world. The wonderful and honest things kids say to each other, to grownups and to guests are categorized in chapters such as "Kids and Their Creator," "Bedtime Blues," "Kids and Grownups" and "Kids' Word Mix-ups." Each chapter - whether about sports, potty training, Christmas, school or food - reminds us of what our kids or their kids did or do.

The stories are accented by enchanting watercolor illustrations from artist Debbie Rittenhouse, a pastor's wife and mother of four. Debbie's sight was saved by corneal transplants in both eyes.

"There is a vast gulf between the world of children and our own. Every time we bridge that gulf, even if it's only for a moment, we recapture some of the freshness and spontaneity that makes life worth living." - Author and television personality Art Linkletter

Several blank pages in each book provide space for families to write in their own favorite stories to create a keepsake volume.
